The subject of this sketch was born in Vermillion county, Ill., June 11, 1891, died in Cates, Ind., Aug, 9, 1911, aged 20 years, 1 month and 28 days.  Deceased was married to Harrison Abernathy Feb. 10, 1911.   Her sickness was
long and severe, but she bore it with patience until the master called her from labor to reward.  She will be greatly missed in the home, but our loss is her eternal gain. She never made any public confession, but all is well for she was a good and
noble girl, striving every day to follow in the steps of our great Teacher . To know her was to love her.  She leaves a bereaved husband, a father and mother, 3 brothers, 3 sisters, 2 grand mothers,  one grand father and a host of friends and neighbors to mourn their loss.  Funeral services were conducted from the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jas. See (Lee),  Friday by Rev. J. M. McHargue, of Perrysville.  Enterment in the Harveysburg cemetery.
